For the Pasta:

  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Step-by-Step Instructions:

  1. Prep and Bread the Chicken 🍗
    Place chicken in a bowl with buttermilk, salt, and pepper. Let it sit while prepping the breading. In a shallow dish, mix breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan, garlic powder, and paprika. Coat each chicken piece in the breadcrumb mixture.
  2. Fry the Chicken
    Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Fry the breaded chicken for about 3–4 minutes on each side until golden and cooked through. Set on paper towels to drain.
  3. Cook the Pasta 🍝
    In a large pot, boil fettuccine pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside, reserving 1/2 cup of pasta water.

    In a saucepan, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant (about 1 min). Add heavy cream, stir, and simmer for 2–3 minutes. Gradually whisk in Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. Add salt and pepper to taste. If needed, loosen the sauce with reserved pasta water.
  5. Assemble the Dish
    Toss cooked fettuccine in the Alfredo sauce until evenly coated. Slice the crispy chicken and place it on top. Sprinkle with chopped parsley and a bit more Parmesan if desired. ✨
